The newly formed Neuroendovascular Surgery program at UCSF offers accessible, coordinated care that seamlessly combines the expertise of our leading cerebrovascular neurosurgery and neurointerventional radiology surgeons and nurse practitioners to treat even the most complex vascular disorders of the central nervous system. Our unique interdisciplinary approach – which includes collaboration with adult and pediatric neurovascular neurologists – facilitates insightful discussions and patient-centric care utilizing the full spectrum of treatment options. As one of the highest-volume and most experienced programs of its kind in the nation, our outcome measures continue to exceed rigorous national comprehensive stroke center guidelines.
