Head and Neck Surgical Oncology

The UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center provides expert care to improve both survival and quality of life. We treat all forms of head and neck cancers, including those of the larynx, oral cavity, salivary glands, sinuses, skull base and thyroid gland, as well as those of the throat, tongue and tonsils. Our treatment team understands that maintaining physical appearance and preserving functions such as speech, swallowing, taste and hearing are important considerations. We offer promising new treatment methods that are often unavailable elsewhere, through a full complement of clinical trials.
